Oracle Selection — Terms & Conditions
1. What is Oracle Selection?
Oracle Selection sets are curated and created entirely by The Nail Altar. You will not see the design, colors, or finishes before receiving your set. By ordering, you agree that this is intentional and final—no design approvals or previews.
Your oracle has spoken. Trust the Altar.
2. Intellectual Property & Personal Use
All designs created for your Oracle Selection set are the intellectual property of The Nail Altar and are created for personal use only.
You may not:
- Reproduce, recreate, or copy the design for commercial purposes
- Resell the nails or the design concept
- Use the designs for any commercial venture without written permission
Designs are a gift for your nails alone.
3. Photo & Content Rights
By ordering an Oracle Selection set, you grant The Nail Altar the right to repost and share any photos or videos you post of your unboxing or wearing your set, provided you have tagged @thenailaltar or messaged me directly.
I will always credit you and link to your account when reposting your content. Your unboxing is my magic made visible—thank you for sharing it.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations are available within 3 days of order placement for a full refund.
Once I literally start painting on your set, your order becomes non-refundable. I typically begin creation 2–3 business days after your order is placed, giving you a reasonable window to change your mind.
If you cancel within the 3-day window, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
5. No Changes or Requests During Creation
Oracle Selection is a "get what you get" experience. Once your order is placed, no design changes, color modifications, or custom requests can be accommodated.
The only customization available at checkout is:
- Nail shape & length selection
- "Don't Want" list (colors, finishes, or aesthetics you'd prefer to avoid)
Once creation begins, these choices are locked. Trust the oracle.
6. Fulfillment Timeline
Your Oracle Selection set will be created and shipped within 7–10 business days of your order. This timeline accounts for creation, curing, quality check, and packaging.
During creation, you're welcome to DM me with questions, but design changes cannot be made.
7. Shipping & Insurance
The Nail Altar covers shipping insurance on all Oracle Selection orders. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, your set will be replaced at no cost to you, covered by our shipping insurance.
Please open your package immediately upon arrival and inspect for damage. If damage is discovered, contact me within 24 hours with photos for expedited replacement.
8. Post-Delivery Damage & Liability
The Nail Altar is not responsible for damage to your nails after they arrive in your possession. This includes breakage from improper application, dropping, or general wear and tear.
Exception: If a 3D element (mold, gem application, or embellishment) pops off or fails within 3 days of receiving your set, this is a manufacturing defect and I will replace that single nail at no cost to you.
After 3 days, normal wear and tear is your responsibility.
9. "Don't Want" List Policy
If you provide a "Don't Want" list at checkout and I accidentally create nails that violate those boundaries (e.g., you requested "no black" and received black nails), The Nail Altar will remake your entire set at no cost to you.
Your original set will be repurposed for markets, events, or the Mystery Box product line.
I take your boundaries seriously. If a mistake happens, I make it right.
10. Unboxing Reward Program
Post your Oracle Selection unboxing within 14 days of receiving it. Tag @thenailaltar on Instagram, TikTok, or message me directly to claim your one-time discount code.
Discount tiers:
- The Seeker ($35): 10% off your next purchase
- The Wanderer ($55): 15% off your next purchase
- The Wise One ($75): 20% off your next purchase
- The High Priestess ($100): 25% off your next purchase
Your discount code is valid anytime and can be used on any product in the shop.
11. Communication & Support
During the creation of your Oracle Selection set, you're welcome to DM me on Instagram (@thenailaltar) with questions or concerns.
Design changes cannot be made once creation has begun, but I'm here to chat, answer questions, and support your experience.
If you have concerns about your finished set after receiving it, contact me within 3 days of delivery. I'll work with you to make it right.
12. General Terms
- Age: By purchasing, you confirm you are 18+ or have parental consent
- Accuracy: We make every effort to accurately represent colors in photos, but screen displays vary. Colors may appear different in person
- Assumption of Risk: You assume all risk of loss or damage after delivery (except manufacturing defects covered above)
- Changes to Terms: The Nail Altar reserves the right to update these terms. Continued purchase indicates acceptance of any changes
